Chain controls in effect on I-80 in Sierra due to snow

Snow has brought chain controls to I-80 in the Sierra on Wednesday.

Chains required on all vehicles except four-wheel/all-wheel drive vehicles with snow tires.

Controls are in effect in both directions of I-80 between Nyack and Truckee as of 12:40 p.m.

Trucks are at minimum restrictions.
