Investigative reporter Kim Burrows is an Emmy awarding winning journalist who has been in television for more than two decades. Working all over the country, she's now back home in Reno with her family. She was born in Denver but grew up in Reno and is a proud graduate of Reno High School.

Kim most recently spent the past 16 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was the investigative reporter. In her career, she's covered some history-making stories including the Salt Lake City Olympics, she pulled 9 Gs in an F-16 Thunderbird jet, reported at ground zero after 9/11 and flew to Texas to cover the Space Shuttle Discovery disaster. She's won three Emmy Awards and been nominated for a dozen more Emmys. She's also won many other awards including one from the Associated Press for best reporter in Albuquerque.

Kim graduated journalism school from Colorado State University. She closely follows the CSU Rams and the Denver Broncos. She just married her junior high sweetheart, John. She's the mother of twin daughters and a son. For fun, Kim runs, golfs, and skydives.
