Madison Macay

Madison Macay is a Bay Area native who has called Northern Nevada home since joining the News 4 and Fox 11 team in November of 2020.

She is beyond grateful for the opportunity to be your new morning anchor alongside Chris Murphy, after previously being your morning weather forecaster Monday through Friday.

Madison graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Broadcast, Electronic, and Communcation Arts or BECA. While in college, she interned at KTVU Fox 2 News in the Bay Area, and was a National Talent Strategy intern for CBS News. While at KTVU, Madison was mentored by veteran meteorologists and reporters leading her to her role today.

She is most proud of her work covering the Tamarack, Dixie, and Caldor fires.

On her time off, you can find Madison enjoying all foods possible, especially pizza! She is passionate about hiking, snow showing, supporting local businesses in Reno's Midtown District, and enjoying everything Northern Nevada has to offer.
