NV Energy is advising customers of a potential proactive power outage impacting certain areas starting Wednesday, November 20, at approximately 6:00 am.
This precautionary measure may extend into Thursday, November 21, depending on the duration of the weather event and the time needed for crews to safely inspect and restore power lines.
The proactive de-energizing of power lines in these designated zones helps to mitigate the risk of sparks igniting dry vegetation that could come in contact with power lines.
