RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno is issuing a rare "life threatening" flash flood warning as heavy rain moves over large wildfire burn scars.
Heavy rain is expected to cause extensive flash flooding. The rain also has the possibility for creating dangerous debris flows.
The East Zone of the growing Dixie Fire, the Sheep Fire Burn scar, and Light's Creek Drainage will see extensive rain.
