Good afternoon, Sparks High School families—
This is a message on behalf of Principal Cynthia Waddell, to share some important information with you:
Today, there was a student disturbance near our campus. We made the decision to restrict the movement of students around the campus as school police and staff members dealt with the students' behavior. A student was removed from our campus safely.
The school was placed on a Lockdown, and we are working closely with School Police as officers continue their investigation.
We hope that this quick communication of the facts will help alleviate any unnecessary rumors which could cause fear and anxiety for our students, family, staff, and community members.

As always, thank you for your support of Sparks High School.
