Virginia City Highlands, Washoe Valley, and Reno zones regain power after PSOM event

As of 6:30 p.m., NV Energy has successfully restored power to the majority of its customers impacted by the Public Safety Outage Management (PSOM) event.

However, approximately 42 customers in the Genoa North, Clear Creek, and Jacks Valley areas will remain without power until tomorrow morning due to ongoing high winds in the region.

NV Energy hopes to restore power to these remaining customers by tomorrow morning.

Customers in the Virginia City Highlands, Washoe Valley, Southwest Reno, and Galena zones have already had their power restored.
