RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West is set to return to Reno from June 17–26 pending COVID-19 restrictions. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.
After an incredibly difficult year we are optimistic that we will be able to bring ‘the toughest sport on dirt’ back to the Biggest Little City and are grateful for the support from our rodeo family and community,” said George Combs, general manager of the Reno Rodeo. “While this year’s rodeo may look a little different, we know it will still deliver the exhilarating experience the Reno Rodeo is known for.
The rodeo begins with the Cattle Drive arriving at the rodeo grounds in the afternoon of June 17 and then the PRCA Xtreme Bulls take the arena for one night of pro bull riding.
The first of nine pro rodeo performances with PRCA events begins on June 18. It includes: Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Women's Professional Barrel Racing, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling and Tie-Down Roping. Competitors will vie for cash prizes and the coveted Reno Rodeo Silver Spurs.

The Reno Rodeo is also moving to mobile ticketing. All tickets for the 2021 Reno Rodeo will be digital to ensure entry to the rodeo grounds is easy and safe for both fans and volunteers.
